Hello, I’m Sai.

I’m a Lead Data Engineer and Data & Analytics Technical Lead with 9+ years across cloud-native data platforms.

Most of that work has lived inside the Microsoft Azure ecosystem — Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI — at companies like ADM (Finance Record-to-Report), Maersk (global logistics finance), the Port Authority of NY & NJ (agency-wide financial lakehouse), Ecolab (Customer Data Management), and Microsoft (Worldwide Payment Services).

What I’m working on

I currently lead the data engineering function for Finance Record-to-Report at ADM, and I spend an increasing share of my time on applied Generative AI. This past year I built and shipped three production GenAI agents on Databricks — a Genie Space data agent, a Vector Search–powered RAG assistant, and a multi-agent orchestrator — hosted as a Databricks App with Unity Catalog row- and column-level security. Today they serve 100+ users (including ED, VP, and C-suite) over a 10,000+ employee dataset, handling 1,000+ queries a day.

I also contributed to an award-winning cash-flow forecasting platform for ADM Treasury — a hackathon where our team placed 2nd and won the Bard’s Tale Award. I owned the lakehouse and feature pipeline and was Lead Presenter on Demo Day, building the forecasting models alongside our ML engineers.
